Quite simply the most successful manager in the history of Burton Albion football club. Since arriving at the club in 1998, Nigel has brought a league championship to Eton Park for the first time, and has taken the club to play at it's highest ever level. Along the way have been some memorable cup runs and appearances on the TV that were unheard of under previous managers.

Nigel is also still involved on the playing side, his vision and experience making him a key man at the heart of the Albion midfield.  He still manages to chip in with the odd goal now and again as well.
