Vastly experienced player with more than 500 appearances under his belt before joining the Brewers.

Born in Birmingham, David started his career with Redditch United before a £45,000 move to Aston Villa. He played a handful of matches in the Premier League for the Villians before a move to Wycombe Wanderers.

David came to the attention of Nigel Clough whilst at Peterborough United, playing in the 0-0 FA Cup draw at London Road.

Spent last season at Boston United and move to the Pirelli Stadium in the summer of 2007 following the Pilgrims demotion to the Blue Square North division.
