The Conference 06/07

TAMWORTH FC

Nickname: 'The Lambs''

Address: The Lamb Ground, Kettlebrook, Tamworth, Staffs, B77 1AA

Getting There: By Car - Head towards Tamworth town centre and follow signs for Snowdome, then Kettlebrook. The entrance to the car park at the ground is in Kettlebrook Road, 50 yards from the traffic island by the railway viaduct.

By Train: Tamworth station is a 5 minute walk from the ground.

The Stadium: Not the biggest, or the amongst the best facilities in the Conference, but the Lamb Ground does have one of the best atmospheres. Assisted by the long covered 'Shed' terrace opposite the main stand, the home fans can generate quite a bit of noise. In comparison, the away Meadow Street terrace does not have the same acoustic. Visiting supporters do at least get a roof over most of the section. There are seats available in the main stand (Tip: take a cloth in wet weather as the seats get soaked). Car parking is available for a small fee.

Costs:  Terrace: Adults - £11   Concessions - £6

Seating: Adults - £13  Concessions - £9

Pub & Grub: The social club at the ground is noT open to away supporters at segregated games, so you will need to find a pub to get a pre-match pint. The nearest bar is at the Snowdome, but for a real pub then head back towards the town, past the UCI cinema and you will find a Weatherspoons pub.
