Getting There: Exit M5 at junction
13 and head for Stroud on the A419. When you reach Stroud take the
A46 towards Nailsworth. This road will take you into the centre of
Nailsworth and to a mini-roundabout by the Information Centre.
Turn right at the roundabout and head up the
steep hill and the ground is at the top.
Parking: There are ample car parking
spaces at the ground.
By Train: There is no train station in Nailsworth. The nearest
is in Stroud, approximately 3 miles away.
The Stadium:
Forest Green Rovers moved to their new stadium in 2006, a stones
throw from the previous home.
The move was close enough for some of the old
stadium to be relocated with the EESI stand being the old main stand
and the roof on the terrace behind the other goal also being from
the 'Old Lawn'.
The main stand is an impressive structure with
2000 seats in front of a row of executive boxes.
Admission Prices:
Main
Stand: Adults £14, concessions £10, U16 £7
Other
Areas: Adults £12, concessions £8, U16 £5
Pub &
Grub: The club have their own pub at the ground called The Green
Man. This is located at the back of the main stand but may not be
available to visiting supporters if segregation is in force at the
ground.
There are
several pubs in the village of Nailsworth but be prepared for the
trek back up the hill towards the ground after your pint.
Websites: The club has recently launched
a decent new website at
http://www.forestgreenroversfc.com/ which is a very good site
for this level.
Unofficial site
http://www.forestgreenroversfc.co.uk/ is a good alternative.
