OPPOSITION GUIDES
FARNBOROUGH TOWN

Nickname: The Boro

Address: Cherrywood Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 8UD

Getting There: By Car - Exit M3 at Jct 4 and take A325 towards Farnborough (past the Farnborough Gate shopping centre). Turn right at traffic lights in Prospect Road (club signposted). Turn right at roundabout into Cherrywood Road. Ground half a mile on right. Parking for 200 cars at ground (charges apply), or plenty of street parking.

By Train: Farnborough is served by a number of stations, depending on where you are coming from. Farnborough Main, North, Blackwater and Frimley are all within a 30 minute walk.

The Stadium: One of the bleakest places to watch football in the Conference, especially in bad weather. For segregated matches away supporters are given a flat open terrace behind one goal along with seats in the Family Stand. If allowed to mingle, fans can huddle under the few areas of covered terracing in the home sections.

Thankfully the catering facilities have improved from the 'Pot Noodles' only that were on offer to visitors. The tea bars even sold crinkle cut chips! Now that is almost worth travelling down there to get beaten every time.

Admission Prices: Adults - £10 OAP/Students/Kids - £7 Transfer to stand - £1

Food & Drink: The social club at the ground is welcoming enough and has a large screen TV. There are no nearby pubs, which is surprising as the locals in the nearby houses look like they would have nothing else to spend their dole money on than beer and fags. There is a McDonalds at the Farnborough Gate for the food connoisseur.
