Getting There:
By Road:
Leave the M1 at junction 29 and take the A617
towards Chesterfield. Go straight on at the first two roundabouts as
you approach the town centre, passing the famous crooked spire
church.
Keep to the left as the road divides, going
around an open car park. This road continues on to Saltergate.
Parking:
There are a number of public car parks within a couple of minutes
walk of the ground.
By Rail:
Chesterfield station is a ten minute walk from the ground.
The Stadium: Chesterfield are
currently in the process of building a new all seated stadium and
this should be their last season at Saltergate.
This
means that this will be one of the last opportunitys for Brewers
fans to stand on open, uncovered terracing (although Accrington will
still always be the most inhospitable ground to visit!).
Visitors
are housed in the Cross Street Terrace behind one goal with seats
also available in the covered Main Stand.
