The view from the 2000 seat main standThe Stadium: For a mere £6.4 million, Burton Albion now have one of the best venues for watching football in non-league circles. Gone are the obstructed views and cramped terracing from Eton Park, and in have come a perfect vantage point from all four stands. Three sides of the ground are fully covered tiered terracing, whilst the 2000 seat main stand runs the whole length of the pitch.

The acoustics of the ground mean that even a small crowd can generate a good atmosphere, with rumours that sounds were even heard emanating from the 'popside' during recent games.

Away fans are located in the Coors Stand (East Stand). This is a covered terraced area which has good views from all areas. The design of the stand means that there are no pillars obstructing the view. Seating is also made available to visiting supporters in the main stand.

Refreshment facilities are located at the rear of each stand with food, hot and cold drinks and alcoholic beverages all available. You will need a small bank loan and a lot of patience to feast at the kiosks. If you're used to the fast, efficient service at restaurants or even MacDonald's, be prepared. Fast food this is not.

Parking: There is a large car park at the ground, cost £2. There is also parking available at the Ryknild Trading Estate just off Derby Road (now also £2), and plenty of free street parking.

Admission Prices:  Terrace:  Adults - £13 Concessions - £11    U16 - £4

                                     Seating: Adults - £15  Concessions - £13    U16 - £6

Pub & Grub: The Football Tavern has gone along with the rest of Eton Park, however it is rumoured that a new pub is due to be built on the Pirelli Stadium complex. There are bars inside the ground, however segregation now means that opposing fans can no longer mingle before the game. If you like your beer in a plastic cup then this is the place for you.

There a number of pubs within easy walking distance of the ground. The recommended venues are The Great Northern  and The Beech Inn.

For food, there is a McDonalds on the Derby Road a couple of minutes past The Beech Inn, whilst the nearest chip shop is a good 10 minute walk across the road, across Eton Park rec and the council estate.

Safety Factor: The Pirelli Stadium is a very safe place to visit, with no problems encountered by visiting supporters. The local pubs are welcoming of away supporters.
