Vastly experienced defender who has celebrated
promotion to the Premier League with four different clubs.
He started his career with Plymouth Argyle before
a £350,000 move to Crystal Palace. He helped the Eagles earn
promotion to the Premier League but was relegated after just one
season.
He then moved to Coventry City for £1.2m and
again suffered relegation heartbreak as the Sky Blues slipped out of
the Premier League.
Wolverhampton Wanderers was the next stop in
Marc's career and yet again he played a part in gaining promotion to
the Premier League, this time via the play-offs.
Further Premier League promotions followed at
Norwich City and Derby County before moving across the East Midlands
to join Leicester City. Marc played eight times as the Foxes romped
to the League One title.
Not renowned as a goal scorer, Marc has troubled
the back of the net only twice in over 500 senior appearances.
He failed to trouble the Burton Albion appearances table as well
during his time with the club. He made the starting line up in the
first game in the Football League but never made another appearance. |
