Signed as a striker
from Ilkeston Town, where he was the clubs top scorer, at the start of
Burton's first season in the Conference.
He has played in just about
every position for the Brewers, and became regarded as more
of a midfielder than a striker. He still had a nose for goal though and
scored some spectacular efforts, including his strike against Scarborough which won him the 'Goal of the Season' award.
A popular player with the
supporters for the 110% that he put in every game, Glenn was released at the
end of the 2004-05 season, joining Hinckley United.
Glenn started his
career at Nottinghamshire side Eastwood Town before a £15,000 move to
Doncaster Rovers. He spent two years at Belle Vue before joining Ilkeston
Town. Since leaving the Brewers he has also played for Worksop Town and was
last heard of playing as a centre half at Matlock Town. |
