Started his career as a trainee with Mansfield Town before joining the Brewers.

He was a regular in the successful reserve team set up and earned a place in the squad for the 2002-03 season.

His only first team league action came as a substitute in a 6-1 drubbing away at Yeovil Town.

He was released at the end of the season following the club's decision to axe the reserve team, and moved on to Ilkeston Town.
